Kavakaze is my home away from home. I started coming here after a bad experience at one of the lesser kava bars in the area. I got sober here, was able to make friends that not only care about me but willing to assist me growing as a better person, and I met my husband at Kavakaze, super awesome “meet-cute.” Come in and strike up a conversation with one of us! (It’s more of a community than a bar)

Favorite place to hang. Crowd is friendly, diverse (in every way). No real arguments or drama and if you visit you are sure to meet / make a few friends. I've made friends that will last my entire life there. Their kava and krat is also really good, Very generous on the portions of kava, even on all you can drink night.

Tallahassees best kava bar. The service is amazing, the atmosphere is a lounge-homey vibe. Everyone is very friendly and welcoming. Love this place so much I named my cat after it. They have the best tasting kava infused drinks as well.
